Hey everyone! So, I just returned from a WILD night on the town attending the travel version of “Price is Right”. It was hilarious and just as cheesy as you would expect. Didn’t get called up on stage, but I was extremely entertained by all of the characters that did. I certainly do live in a colorful town
So, I have been a Pinterest-ing maniac lately, and found this recipe! I made these brownies for dessert a few days ago, and probably like you, was sucked in by two particular aspects of the title (well three, because who isn’t sucked in by the word “brownies”). TWO ingredient and PUMPKIN. As I am forcing the sweaters and boots into my daily wardrobe despite the fact that the high temps are still in the upper 70′s, I am also forcing everything pumpkin into my diet, and these made it.
Now, I must warn you. They do not actually taste like pumpkin. Rather, the pumpkin ends up having an “applesauce” like effect, similar to when you replace oil/eggs with applesauce in cake ingredients. These brownies are definitely VERY chewy, chocolatey, and de-LISH with vanilla ice cream. And they take about 2 seconds to make- the best part.
TWO-ingredient Pumpkin Brownies: (from http://cookiesandcups.com/2-ingredient-pumpkin-brownies/)
1 can pureed pumpkin
1 box brownie mix
Mix them together. Spread in a 9 x 9 baking pan and bake for 35 minutes at 350 F.
And THAT’s IT!! Eat up! xoxo
